This is my Story

Hi, I’m Ledi – Business Coach, Mompreneur, and the founder of PowerUp Woman.

My story is one of resilience, reinvention, and a deep desire to create impact by helping women turn their passions into profitable, purpose-driven businesses.

It all began when I was just seven years old. I learned to sell every day before and after school at my mom’s store. It wasn’t just a hustle – it was a moment of discovery. Watching the smiles on people’s faces as they handed me money in exchange for what I offered sparked something deep inside me. 

When I was 11, my family left Albania and moved to New York City. Adjusting to a new life in a new country wasn’t easy, but it taught me resilience and adaptability traits that would define my journey moving forward.

A Career in Entertainment & Reality TV

Fast forward to my twenties, I pursued a career in entertainment as an Albanian singer. My very first hip-hop song went viral during a time when social media didn’t even exist a testament to the power of a good product and authenticity. I also participated in reality TV shows like  Shpia e Kosovës (House of Kosovo), where I was locked in a house with other contestants for three months and made it to the finals and recently you must of see me in Big Brother VIP.

But as much as I loved the entertainment world, my journey didn’t stop there.

 From Music to Business

When I became pregnant, everything shifted. I started reflecting deeply on the life I wanted to build for my family and the legacy I wanted to leave behind. While I loved my music career, I had been balancing it alongside part-time online businesses, primarily in products. I had already invested in and helped build a few businesses before that point, but I knew it was time to go all in and fully commit to building something more aligned with the next chapter of my life.

That’s when my husband and I co-founded Voltek IT, marking my pivot from product-based businesses to the service industry. My husband brought his expertise in IT, while I leaned into my strengths in sales, marketing, and business development. Together, we helped businesses harness technology to grow, operate more efficiently, and adapt to an ever-changing world.

This decision wasn’t just about building a business  it was about stepping fully into my potential and creating something that could serve others on a deeper level.

The Turning Point: From Struggle to Empowerment

When the pandemic hit and the world shifted, so did I. I felt like I was stuck between two worlds – caring for my parents, who were sick and rooted in old-school mentalities, while raising two young children and trying to define the values and education I wanted to give them. At the same time, I was juggling the pressures of growing my business and balancing my personal life, which left me questioning everything.

In that moment of being pulled in different directions, I realized something crucial: everything started with me. I began re-evaluating my life, my mindset, and my approach to business. I leaned into personal development, healing, and redefining my perspective on what success could truly mean.

I also recognized that I had a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and passion that could help others who were struggling. I thought about how I had built my personal brand using tools like social media to market everything in my life – from my singing career to my online businesses and events. I knew I could take everything I had learned and guide women to do the same.

PowerUp Woman Is Born
In 2021, PowerUp Woman came to life. It became more than just a business – it became a community and a movement. Through coaching and courses, I began helping women transform their knowledge, skills, and passions into profitable online businesses.

Starting with mindset as the foundation, I guide women step-by-step through personal branding, social media strategies, marketing, and course creation. My mission is to help women reclaim their time, monetize their expertise, and build a life of freedom and purpose without sacrificing the things that matter most.

Over the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of helping women from all walks of life – therapists, teachers, coaches, and consultants – launch, grow, and scale their online businesses. Seeing them succeed has been my greatest joy.
